Lynton House 54 Clapham Common South Side Works to a Grade II listed building The building dates from 1875 and is believed to be inspired by the work of Thomas Cubitt and especially Osborne House on the Isle of Wight. The works included reinstatement of the original roof top balustrade, the addition of an attic storey, demolition of post war rear extension, reinstatement of glazed veranda, excavation of front garden for provision of new store rooms, reinstatement of front garden enclosure in its original form. The scheme was prepared and submitted for approval following extensive research and discussions with English Heritage and the local planning authority.
