Floyd Slaski are assisting the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust with a new-build day surgery unit. The Trust required an increase in their theatre infrastructure in order to:

• Clear the unprecedented levels of waiting list backlog post the Covid-19 pandemic.

• Put the Trust in the strongest position to deliver its broader clinical strategy and develop UHL as an elective site.

• Strengthen the Trust’s ability to participate in the consolidation of clinical services across South East London (SEL) and the move to creating elective surgical hubs.

The NHS England ProCure23 Principal Supply Chain Partner was John Sisk & Son. Floyd Slaski were Lead Designer and Architect from Feasibility, award of funding, Planning, contractor procurement, Technical Design, and construction.
